Nag and Valli's Joyful Bundle (Part 2)

YN lost his mojo in the previous photoshoot and requested for a reshoot the next week. I am particularly happy about this photoshoot as i got many pictures out of very few shots. Being in the comfort of their own home, the models seem to be much more at ease and it was a great session.

Stand-A-Lone Shots

Sometimes, when we go for photoshoots, we end up shooting some unrelated random pictures that just don’t fit into the album or theme for the day. Some of these pictures are my personal favourites and it’s such a waste to see them sitting on my hardisk unpublished. Hence, from today onwards I’ve decided to continuously blog about these stand-alone photos.

I like this photo a lot because it is very different from the typical pictures I ussually take. I like the way the light comes in from the window and falls on the subject. Yeah the pose is a bit weird, I will have to pay more attention and direct the model better next time. But nevertheless, I love the feel of this picture.

This was taken at a pond in spice garden. The dragonfly took our attention away from the model. I like this because somehow I just like it haha…

Nag and Valli's Joyful Bundle

This is a long dued assignment that our group had planned. We had so much activities going on in the past few weeks that time has passed us by in a blink of an eye. We had always talked about photographing Nag (one of our fellow group member)'s wife during her maternity. But we never found time until last Sunday, we decided that we cannot push out this agenda any further as Valli (Nag's wife) is already 8 months pregnant. Last Sunday was really hazy, luckily there was a short downpour that cleared the sky. I am quite contented with my work this time around...hope you will find nice too.

Graffiti

It really feels weird to post a portraiture series of myself. Ussually behind the lense, this time i decided to entertain my friends and became a model instead. This is when i realized that being a model is so much harder than being the photographer. Being a photographer, you just have to direct the model on the poses and take a few shots from different angles then you are done! Can step aside and rest while waiting for other fellow photographers to complete their shots. Being a model is real torture. You have to hold your pose under the scorching sun waiting for each photographers to take their turn! I really felt like i was a BBQ chicken instead of an elegant model hahaha...

Hope that the effort was worth it.

Baby Irfan

I've always wanted to create a photomontage of babies. My chance came when my colleague gave birth to a healthy 3.5kg baby boy 4 days ago. Cute little baby Irfan is my first album on babies. Hope you like it!
